On September 3rd, 2018, H.E. President of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi who came to China to participate in the FOCAC led his government delegation to have friendly talks with Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, as well as Chinese entrepreneurs. After H.E. President introduced Mozambique's national conditions, resources, economic structure, export orientation and expressed his willingness to have specific cooperation with China, Dr. Li Ruohong made three suggestions to the H.E. President of Mozambique, noting that economically, both sides can grasp the opportunities to conduct cooperation in the areas of finance, agriculture, infrastructure, Internet technology to promote friendly relations between China and Mozambique and Mozambique’s regional influence; socially two countries should establish and expand sister cities and cooperation in friendly industries in the provinces and cities with great potential for interaction with China at the social level; culturally, Mozambique should join the “An Interactive Atlas of Cultural Interactions along the Silk Roads”designed by us and the United Nations to carry out cross-civilization cooperation and support youth healthy development .
