On May 8th, 2025, Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, warmly received the visiting Ambassador of Lesotho to China, H.E. Mr.?Kenneth Sentle Rabale, at the Peace Garden Museum.

During the talks, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on international cooperation in the context of the current US tariffs, starting from the changes and challenges in the global economic landscape, and exchanged views on how to seek a path of win-win cooperation in the complex and ever-changing international situation. At the same time, Dr. Li Ruohong put forward a series of constructive cooperation suggestions for the diamond export business of the Kingdom of Lesotho, hoping to expand the international market for Lesotho's diamond industry through strengthening bilateral cooperation, promote the common development of China and Lesotho in the economic and trade fields, and promote cooperation in multiple areas of the Silk Road.
